The National Network of Women Defenders in El Salvador is a space made up of women defenders who came together is 2013 to accompany and embody support for each other in response to the attacks we face due to our work.

Through our organizations or collectives, as well as individually, women defenders promote human rights, denounce injustice, and demand from society and the State an end to impunity and reparations for victims.

Some of our areas of work include the right to live free from violence, sexual and reproductive rights, non-discrimination for body-gender non-conforming persons, defense of territories and the commons, political participation, and freedom of expression.
