On Friday, January 13, as part of the first oficial visit to Mexico of the UN Special Rapporteur on the Situation of Human Rights Defenders, Michel Forst, the International Forum on Human Rights Defenders: Challenges and Experiences was held at the Museum of Memory and Tolerance in Mexico City.

At the Forum, attended by Michel Forst and José de Jesús Orozco, the Rapporteur on the Rights of Human Rights Defenders of the IACHR, several members of IM-Defensoras and the National Network of Women Human Rights Defenders in Mexico also participated, including Bettina Cruz, Alejandra Nuño, Maria Martín and Claudia Samayoa.
