We thank organizations that made possible "Regional Gathering of Defenders of Land..."

The Regional Gathering of Defenders of Land, Territory and Environment took place in Mexico City from May 30th to June 1st, Here, Latin American defenders shared and collectively constructed estrategies for protection and security in the context of land territorial defense and the conservation on nature.

This meeting was made possible by the support of Bread for the World, the Urgent Action Fund (FAU-AL), ProtectDefenders.eu, through the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR) and the Global Fund for Women (GFW).

Those of us who convened the gathering wish to express our thanks to these funds and organizations for their commitment and their support for the work and protection of all persons who defend land territory and environment in Latin America.
